By accessing this website, creating an account, or placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service and any related policies that apply to your purchase, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Returns Policy. These terms are made available on our website and should remain accessible before checkout and during the checkout process.

Who may use the website

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable South African law. If you are under the age of 18, you confirm that you have the consent or assistance of a parent, guardian, or other legally competent person where required by law.

Products and product information

We sell football apparel and related products online. We aim to display product images, descriptions, prices, sizing information, and availability as accurately as reasonably possible. Because screen displays and manufacturing variations differ, colours, fit, packaging, or minor product details may vary.

If a product is officially licensed, authorised, or affiliated with a club, brand, league, or manufacturer, that should be stated clearly on the relevant product page. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Golazo is an independent retailer and does not claim endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or official affiliation by any club, brand, league, or manufacturer.

Orders

Placing an item in your cart does not reserve stock. An order is accepted only once payment is successfully authorised and we confirm the order. We may refuse, limit, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment failure, obvious pricing or listing errors, unavailability of stock, misuse of promotions, or suspected policy breaches.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will notify you and process any refund due in accordance with applicable law and our Refund & Returns Policy. If goods or services ordered are unavailable and we cannot perform, we will notify you and refund any payment due within the period required by law.

Prices, fees, and payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless clearly stated otherwise. The total amount payable at checkout will include the product price and any applicable shipping or delivery charges shown before payment is completed. We aim to ensure that pricing information is correct, but obvious errors may be corrected before or after order placement where permitted by law.

Payment methods available to you will be shown at checkout. We use secure checkout and third-party payment providers, including Yoco where enabled. At least one conventional payment method must be available during checkout, and customers must be able to purchase directly on the website without being forced to complete the purchase on a separate destination.

Delivery and shipping

We deliver within South Africa. Shipping methods, estimated delivery times, cut-off times, and charges are described in our Shipping Policy and are also shown at checkout before payment. Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guarantees. We are responsible for delivery as required by law and until delivery is accepted, subject to applicable law and the terms of the chosen delivery method.

Returns, exchanges, refunds, and statutory rights

Our Refund & Returns Policy explains the process, conditions, and timelines for ordinary returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to replace or reduce any right you may have under applicable South African law. In particular:

  • you may have statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights for eligible electronic transactions;
  • you may have additional return rights in specific circumstances under the CPA; and
  • goods supplied to consumers are subject to the CPA’s implied warranty of quality, including the six-month right to return goods that fail to meet the standards in section 55, at the supplier’s risk and expense, for repair, replacement, or refund at the consumer’s direction.

If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and a non-excludable right under applicable law, the law will prevail to that extent.

Order cancellations

You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us as quickly as possible. If the order has already been dispatched, the order will be handled under our Refund & Returns Policy and any applicable statutory rights. If an electronic-transaction cooling-off right applies by law, that right remains available on the terms set by law.

Use of the website

You agree not to misuse the website. This includes, without limitation, attempting to interfere with site functionality, introducing malicious code, scraping or abusing the site, committing fraud, infringing intellectual property rights, or using the site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or limit access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business, our customers, or third parties.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, website design, and other original content, belongs to Golazo or is used under lawful permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit this content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law. Any third-party trademarks, club names, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for lawful descriptive or commercial purposes where applicable.

Website availability and information accuracy

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content is always current, complete, or error-free. We may update or correct information, suspend parts of the site, or change product listings where reasonably necessary. Any correction will not affect rights already accrued under mandatory law.

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures to perform our obligations where those delays or failures result from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, interruptions to transport or communications, power outages, government action, or other unforeseen events. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effects of such events and resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golazo will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special losses arising from your use of the website or your purchase, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:

  • any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted;
  • liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, or unlawful conduct;
  • liability that cannot be limited under the CPA, ECTA, POPIA, or any other applicable law; or
  • any remedy specifically available to you under statute.

Any risk-allocation, disclaimer, or liability-limitation clause must be read subject to the CPA’s plain-language, fairness, and notice requirements.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the website or placing an order, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as described in that policy and by the service providers reasonably necessary to operate the store, process payments, deliver orders, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about an order, product, delivery, or support interaction, please contact us first at info@golazo.co.za or +27 68 891 3022. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. If your complaint relates to personal information, you may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Applicable consumer-law complaint routes remain available to you where permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any provision that is unlawful or unenforceable will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in force.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If you continue to use the website after the revised Terms take effect, that continued use will be subject to the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires a different approach.
